Stephen Curry’s 11-game streak of scoring at least 30 points ended Wednesday night, with the Golden State Warriors star having 18 points in a 118-114 loss to the Washington Wizards.

He was the first player to score at least 30 points in 10 straight games since Kobe Bryant in 2012, and at 33 is the oldest in NBA history to score at least 30 points in 11 straight games.

James Tweets About Another Incident

Lebron James tweeted Wednesday about the police killing in Columbus, Ohio, a day earlier of a 16-year-old Black girl, Ma'khia Bryant, and then deleted it.
In the original tweet, he posted a photo of Nicholas Reardon, the white officer who shot Bryant as she charged a young woman with a knife. He captioned it, “YOUR’E NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY,” with an hourglass emoji.
Explaining why he deleted it, the L.A. Lakers star tweeted, in part, “I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate.”

Rockets' Porter Out Until Sunday

The Houston Rockets’ Kevin Porter Jr.. will be out until at least Sunday after violating the National Basketball Association’s health and safety protocols by visiting a strip club in Miami with teammate Sterling Brown, ESPN reported Wednesday.
Brown, who hasn’t been playing because of a knee injury, was assaulted outside the strip club. The Rockets announced Monday that Brown had been assaulted by men he didn’t know and had suffered facial lacerations.
