SHELBYVILLE -- Effingham St. Anthony split victories with Shelbyville in Saturday girls junior high basketball action.

The Bullpups claimed the eighth-grade game, 46-22. St. Anthony took a 23-13 first half lead then had a 23-9 second half.

St. Anthony was led by K. Kabbes with 15 points and A. Nuxoll with nine.

In the seventh-grade contest, St. Anthony fell to Shelbvyille, 32-16.

N. Trupiano tallied six to lead St. Anthony.
