TAYLORVILLE --Taylorville played host to Effingham St. Anthony and sent the Bullpups home with two losses in girls junior high basketball action Monday evening.

Taylorville was a winner in the sixth/seventh grade game, 25-16. Wernz led Taylorville with 13.

St. Anthony was led by M. Hoene with seven.

In the eighth-grade game, Taylorville won 43-17. Heimsness led the way for the winners with 12 points.

St. Anthony was led by A. Rios with 11 points.
