Several Area Players On All-State Basketball Teams

Several area players were named to the Class 1A and Class 2A All-State Girls Basketball Teams.

Altamont High School's Grace Nelson was named to the 1A All-State Team.

Special Mention went to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's Gracie Heckert, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's Mikala Nichols and Altamont's Brooke Runge.

Named to the Class 2A All-State Team was Teutopolis HIgh School's Lexie Niebrugge. Special Mention went to the Wooden Shoes' Kaylee Niebrugge and Kaitlyn Schumacher.
