The Miami Heat traded center Meyers Leonard to the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday and a second-round pick in the 2027 draft for Trevor Ariza.

The trade comes after Leonard used an anti-Semitic slur while livestreaming a video game last week, for which he apologized. The NBA fined him the maximum $50,000 and suspended him for one week, and also required him to participate in a cultural diversity program.
