Neoga Hands South Central Girls Basketball Loss

The Neoga High School girls basketball team just keeps rolling along. The Indians latest victim was South Central by a 55-31 count Wednesday evening.

Neoga took an 11-2 opening quarter lead and led 28-13 at halftime. The Indians then had a 16-6 third quarter.

Kylee Phillips led the way in scoring with 16 on six field goals and four of eight at the line while Sydney Richards also finished in double figures with 12. She hit five field goals and was two of three at the line. Also scoring in double figures was Campbell with 10.

South Central was led by Sydnee Garrett with 15 on four field goals and four of seven at the line.

Neoga improves to 6-1 in the National Trail Conference and 12-2 overall. The Indians will play host to St. Anthony today.
