In the seventh-grade contest, T-town picked up the 40-37 win. T-town broke a 7-7 opening quarter tie with a 17-9 second period. Casey-Westfield came back to tie the score in the third quarter. The Shoes then had a 13-10 final period run.
Isaac McWhorter scored 11 for the winners while Jason Kreke tallied 10.
In eighth-grade play, Casey-Westfield pulled out a 35-34 win. T-town held a 28-23 lead going into the final quarter. Casey-Westfield came back with a 12-6 run to pick up the one-point win.
Jake Bushur scored 12 points for the Shoes while Mick Niebrugge added nine.

At Altamont
Altamont handed visiting Neoga two losses in junior high action Monday.
Altamont claimed the seventh-grade contest, 42-18. The Wildcats held a 19-9 halftime lead then had a 15-5 third quarter as Veteto scored 10 points.
Veteto led Altamont with 19 points while Tedrick added nine.
Neoga was led by Cardinal with eight points.
In eighth-grade action, Neoga and Altamont were tied at 13-13 at halftime and 23-23 going into the final quarter.
In the final period, Altamont had a 10-2 run to pull out a 33-25 victory.
Plum led Altamont with 14 points while Shafer had eight.
Neoga was led by Cardinal with 14.

At Newton
Jasper County split wins with Palestine/Hutsonville in Monday action.
Jasper County edged Palestine/Hutsonville, 37-35 in the seventh-grade contest. Jasper County led 17-15 at halftime but trailed 24-23 going into the final quarter. Jasper County then had a 14-11 run for the win.
Drake Wolf led the way with 16 points as the team improved to 3-8.
In eighth-grade play, Jasper County trailed Palestine/Hutsonville 26-19 at halftime and couldn't get untrailed in a 52-42 loss.
Kholten Barthelme tallied 11 points for Jasper County.

At Brownstown
Stewardson-Strasburg downed St. Elmo/Brownstown in both seventh- and eighth-grade competition Monday.
Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade matchup, 35-20. Stew-Stras jumped out to a 17-7 halftime lead and never looked back.
Wetherell scored 11 for the winners who improve to 7-4. SEB was led by Poe with 10.
In the eighth-grade game, Stew-Stras also ran off to a big 27-10 halftime lead and tallied a 45-19 win.
Morris led the way in scoring with 11 while Durbin added 10. The squad is now 7-4.
SEB was led by Wilhour with 10.

Sigel St. Michael was a winner in seventh-grade play over South Central Monday, 36-15.
The Sharpshooters held an 11-0 opening quarter lead and led 32-5 at halftime.
B. Niebrugge scored 16 for the winners. South Central was led by Westin Neilson with seven.
South Central then won the eighth-grade game, 30-28. The two teams scored 10 each in the opening quarter and were tied at 18-18 at halftime.
South Central moved ahead 24-22 in the third quarter and held on for a 30-28 victory.
Kage Hiestand led the way with 10 points. Altamont was led by B. Fearday with 13.

North Clay (Louisville) tallied two wins over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Monday.
North Clay won the seventh-grade encounter, 23-18. North Clay led 11-8 at halftime and 19-12 going into the final quarter.
Byers led the team with nine points. CHBC was led by Gage Hart and Brayden Bunch with six each.
In eighth-grade action, North Clay picked up a 40-23 win.
North Clay took a 25-12 halftime lead. Zimdars tallied 18 for the winners while L. Groves had 12.
CHBC was led by Kyle Lamb with six.
