CHICAGO -- Zach LaVine was the big gun as the Chicago Bulls handed Detroit a 105-102 loss Wednesday evening.

LaVine tallied 37 points and the Bulls pulled out a three-point win. But it was the three-point baskets by Colby White and Patrick Williams in the final quarter that sunk the Pistons. White knocked in his shot to move the Bulls ahead 100-96 then Williams hit with 29 seconds showing on the clock and the Bulls were ahead by five.

Wendall Carter Jr. tallied 18 points and Williams finished with 15.

The Bulls were supposed to travel to Charlotte while the Pistons were scheduled to be at Dallas. But the Charlotte  contest went down to COVID tracing and the Dallas game got knocked out because of power outages due to the snow storm that moved through Texas.
