Dieterich Downs EHS in F/S Girls Action

In freshman/sophomore girls basketball action Tuesday, Dieterich tallied a 52-45 win over Effingham.

The Hearts held a 9-4 opening quarter lead but the score was knotted at 21-21 at halftime. The Movin' Maroons held a 37-35 lead going into the final quarter then had a 16-10 run.

C. Brummer and M. Esker led Dieterich with 11 points each. EHS was led by Thompson with 13 and Greene with 10.
