EIU Women Snap Four-Game Losing Streak

Eastern Illinois University snapped a four-game losing streak in women's basketball early Monday afternoon.

The Panthers (4-7, 2-4 OVC) grabbed a pivotal 77-65 victory against Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (4-5, 1-3 OVC). EIU moved out to a 30-23 lead at halftime.

Karle Pace led the Panthers in scoring with 20 points and moved up to the 16th spot in career scoring at Eastern Ililnois. Also in double figures was Morgan Litwiller with 17. Kira Arthoffer pulled down eight rebounds and dished out eight assists.

The Panthers will return to Lantz Arena to take on Morehead State Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
