Damian Lillard tallied 31 points for the Trail Blazers, 12 of those coming out of the last 15 scored in the contest and 21 in the second half.
Gary Trent Jr. provided the spark off the bench, connecting on seven three-pointers and finished with 28 points. He was 10 of 14 from the field. The Trail Blazers led 58-54 at halftime.
For the Lakers, LeBron James was the biggest contributor with 29 points, nine rebounds, and six assists while Dennis Schroeder chipped in with 24.
