The Baylor Bears posted an 82-69 men's college basketball win over the Illinois Fighting Illini Wednesday night. The game was part of the Jimmy V Classic at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Illinois trailed by one at halftime, but the Bears had a big second half to post the win.

Adam Flagler led Baylor with 18 points and three of his teammates also scored in double figures.

Ayo Dosunmu led Illinois with 18 points, but was just six of 18 from the field. Giorgi Beshanishvili finished with 15 points filling in for Kofi Cockburn, who got in foul trouble.

Illinois Coach Brad Underwood said, "It was a frustrating night. It was a great opportunity to learn. I'm disappointed in our loose balls in the second half, but give credit to (Baylor)."

The Illini suffered their first loss after opening last week with three victories.
