L.A. Lakers Capture NBA Championship

The L.A. Lakers won the National Basketball Association championship for the 17th time in franchise history last night with a 106-93 win over the Miami Heat to take the NBA Finals four games to two.

Lebron James, who was named the Finals MVP for the fourth time in his career, had a triple-double, getting 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the fourth title for James, who did it with his third franchise, after winning the NBA championship twice with the Heat and once with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
