Altamont Basketball, Scholastic Bowl Award Winners

ALTAMONT -- Altamont High School athletes in the sports of boys basketball, girls basketball and Scholastic Bowl were honored Tuesday evening.

Awards in boys basketball went to Garrett Ziegler (Offensive Most Valuable Player, Free Throw Award), Logan Hill (Indian Award), Jon Kuhns (Defensive Most Valuable Player) and Ryan Mayhaus (Rebounding Award).

Girls basketball awards went to Abbe Stevenson (Free Throw Award), Maddie Ohnesorge (Rebounding Award), Emily Armstrong (Indian Award), Macy Wendling (Leadership Award), Lauren Ohnesorge (Leadership Award), Renee Tillman (Most Improved-Varsity) and Claire Voelker (Most Improved-Junior Varsity).

Scholastic Bowl award winners were Christian Stuckemeyer (High Scorer) and Caleb Moody (Most Improved). Four competitors on the team from 2009-2013 were Luke Armstrong, Robert Harder, Shelby Jones and Clayton Ruckman.
