Varsity team members for Effingham High School's girls basketball team winning awards were, left to right, Taylor Willis, Kelli Utz, Josie Zerrusen, Felicia Totten and Caitlin Kaufman.
The Effingham High School girls basketball team was honored at a banquet Saturday.
Earning varsity girls awards were:
Josie Zerrusen (rebound leader, steals leader, blocks leader, the Charge Award, Captain, Hustle Award), Kelli Utz (assist leader, steals leader, highest free throw percentage, highest three-point percentage, Captain, Best Defensive Player, Most Valuable Player, Miss Basketball Award), Caitlin Kaufmann (Captain), Felicia Totten (Most Improved Player) and Taylor Willis (Max Wolfe Sportsmanship Award).
Varsity letterwinners were Kelli Utz, Jantzen Michael, Morgan Weiser, Brittany Beals, Felicia Totten, Lauren Stephenson, Caitlin Kaufman, Stephanie Robb, Josie Zerrusen, Taylor Willis and Maddy Field.
Junior varsity team members winning awards were, left to right, Marranda Steffen, Lauren Stephenson, Taylor Crowell, Savannah Devore and Amber Vonderheide.
