Montgomery To Miss 2020 WNBA Season

Renee Montgomery of the WNBA’S Atlanta Dream said Thursday she’ll miss the 2020 season so she can work on social justice reform.

She tweeted: “I do feel that now is the time and Moments equal Momentum.”

The 11-year veteran is a two-time WNBA champion and former NCAA champ with UConn. The WNBA’s season is starting in July two months later than usual because of the pandemic, and will have 22 regular-season games instead of the normal 36.
