Brother Of Pilot Responds To Lawsuit

The brother of the pilot in the January helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others, including pilo tAra Zobayan,, has responded to a lawsuit by Bryant’s widow with a court filing in which he said the former Lakers star knew the risk of flying and his survivors aren’t entitled to damages.

Vanessa Bryant has sued the charter company that owned the helicopter, Island Express, in addition to Zobayan’s estate. She accused the pilot of negligence and failure “to use ordinary care” in piloting the helicopter.
