Attorneys representing the former marketing rep for Zion Williamson have asked the New Orleans Pelicans’ star rookie to admit his mother and stepfather demanded and got gifts, money and other benefits from Adidas, Nike, and people associated with Duke University to influence him to sign with Duke and wear Nike or Adidas products.

Williams sued Gina Ford and her company in June to terminate his marketing agreement and they sued in return. Williamson played one year at Duke before becoming the Number 1 pick in the 2019 draft.
