NBA Cancels Induction Ceremony

The National Baseball Hall of Fame announced Wednesday that it has canceled this year’s planned induction ceremony on July 26 because of the pandemic. The 2020 class, headed by Derek Jeter and Larry Walke, will be part of next year’s induction ceremonies in Cooperstown, New York.


James Organizes all-Star Event

L.A. Lakers superstar Lebron James is organizing an all-star event to celebrate the high school class of 2020, which is missing out on traditional graduation events because of the pandemic.

The one-hour special will air simultaneously on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox on Saturday, May 16, at 8 p.m. ET.

‘Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020’ will include appearances by James, Pharrell Williams, the Jonas Brothers, Bad Bunny, Ben Platt, H.E.R., and more. It will also air on digital platforms including TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
