Brummer, Shouse to be Recognized at Hearts' Senior Night Tonight

A big night is scheduled tonight at Effingham High School.

First, it's Senior Night.

Second, it's a key Apollo Conference battle between the Hearts and the Taylorville Tornadoes.

Third, there will be recognition of EHS graduates and former baseball major leaguers Glenn Brummer and Brian Shouse.

The baseball jerseys of Brummer and Shouse are now on display outside the main gym at EHS along with those of active players Chad Green and Nick Gardewine.

Brummer and Shouse are scheduled to be at tonight's game.

The JV game will start at 6pm, with the varsity contest to follow.
