Lebron James scored 40 points Tuesday night in his first game against last year's Number 1 draft pick Zion Williamson, as his L.A. Lakers beat Williamson's New Orleans Pelicans 118-109.
Williamson scored 29 points. James praised Williamson, saying, “He’s playing exceptional basketball. I think his game is going to get better and better, just having that experience.” Williamson was injured for the Pelicans’ first two meetings of the season with the Lakers.
