Cumberland and Effingham St. Anthony split freshman/sophomore boys basketball wins Monday evening.
The Bulldogs claimed a 27-11 win in the freshman game. St. Anthony ripped out to a 19-4 opening quarter lead
St. Anthony was led by Max Sager with six points.
Cumberland was led by McBride with seven.
In a freshman/sophomore game, Cumberland was a 58-41 winner.
The Pirates held a 13-6 opening quarter lead and led 28-18 at halftime. Cumberland then pushed that to 45-28 in the third quarter.
Boldt tallied 16 while Peters added 11 and Thompson 10 for the winners.
St. Anthony was led by Kyle Stewart with 11 and Brody Niebrugge with 10.
