TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School played host to St. Joseph-Ogden in a boys basketball game Monday evening and claimed a 61-45 victory.

St. Joseph-Ogden edged out to a 14-13 opening quarter lead but T-town came back to lead 26-21 at halftime. The Wooden Shoes then had a 17-7 third period.

Luke Ungrund tallied 20 to lead the Shoes while Evan Wermert chipped in with 14. Wermert also had 10 rebounds and eight assists.

"The defense played great again tonight," said T-town Coach Chet Reeder. "We forced St. Joe into taking difficult shots all night. Mitch Hardiek held their leading scorer to just five points. Our offense had much more of a flow tonight."

The Shoes will honor their seniors tonight in a final home contest against Mattoon.
