NBA Franchise Now Above $2 Billion

‘Forbes’ said Tuesday the average value of an NBA franchise is now above $2 billion for the first time, having grown nearly 600 percent in the past decade. With the average value just over $2.1 billion, the New York Knicks are the  highest-valued team at $4.6 billion, followed by the L.A. Lakers at $4.4 billion and the Golden State Warriors at $4.3 billion. The lowest-valued team is the Memphis Grizzlies, at $1.3 billion.

 

Bryants Laid To Rest

Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna bryant were laid to rest in a private service last Friday at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California, according to multiple reports Tuesday. That private service will be followed by a previously-announced public memorial for the father and daughter at the Staples Center on February 24.
