Altamont Lutheran fell from further play in the Class S Boys Junior High State Basketball Tournament Monday.

Holy Childhood of Mascoutah downed Altamont Lutheran, 48-36.

In other scores, Woodlawn won over Marissa 53-50, Central City downed Pinckneyville 54-25 and Aviston edged New Simpson 34-32.

The State Tournament continues Thursday with Woodlawn against Central City and Holy Childhood facing Aviston. The winners advance to the state championship Saturday while the losers will play for third place.
