Effingham St. Anthony claimed the championship of the Class 8-2A St. Elmo/Brownstown Boys Basketball Regional Thursday.

 

The Bullpups handed St. Elmo/Brownstown a 43-26 loss.

St. Anthony (10-17) advances to its own sectional Wednesday, February 12 against Casey-Westfield at 6:30 p.m. Casey-Westfield won its own regional with a 40-35 score over Paris Crestwood Thursday.

 

 

Teutopolis claimed the eighth-grade regional championship at Robinson Nuttall.

Class 3A Robinson Nuttall Regional

Teutopolis claimed the championship of the Robinson Nuttall Regional with a 46-35 victory over Lawrenceville Thursday.

T-town edged out to a 13-9 opening quarter lead and led 22-15 at halftime. T-town then had a 24-20 second half.

Tyler Pruemer led the Wooden Shoes with 20 points.

T-town is now 22-3 on the season and will play the winner of the Sullivan Regional, either Shelbyville Moulton or Tuscola East Prairie at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 12 for its own sectional championship. Moulton and East Prairie will play tonight for the Sullivan Regional title.
