SANDOVAL -- St. Elmo/Brownstown High School stepped out to a 23-12 opening quarter lead and had a 22-7 third period run for a 74-39 win over 
Sandoval in boys basketball Thursday evening.

Three players scoredi n double figures for the Eagles. Jace McWhorter led with 16 while Jacob Baron added 15 and Bryton Pruett 12. Baron led in rebounds with 11 while Andy Goldsborough pulled down 10. Pruett led in assists with six. McWhorter had three steals and a blocked shot.

SEB hit 50 percent from the field and 42 percent at the line.
