Newton St. Thomas claimed the championship of the Sigel St. Michael Class 8-1A Boys Basketball Regional Tuesday.

 

St. Thomas edged St. Michael, 31-28.

Newton St. Thomas advances to face either Lovejoy or Pana Sacred Heart at the Sigel St. Michael Sectional Wednesday, Feb. 12. Lovejoy and Pana Sacred Heart play Thursday.
