The Hearts ripped out to a 20-9 opening quarter lead and led 31-15 at halftime.
Annie Frost led EHS with 19 points and nine rebounds. Hayley Diveley chipped in with 11 points on four field goals that included three trifectas. The Hearts finished with nine three-pointers in the contest. Ella Niebrugge and Taylor Armstrong connected on two each.
Sawyer Althoff had four assists. Amrstrong finished with six rebounds.
EHS is back in action Thursday with an Apollo Conference contest hosting Mattoon.

At Brownstown
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City jumped out to a 16-9 opening quarter lead on Brownstown/St. Elmo. But, that didn't last long as BSE pulled within 28-23 at halftime and tied the score at 38-38 in the third quarter.
The final period was all BSE with a 22-9 run for a 60-47 National Trail Conference win over CHBC.
Claire Wilhour and Olivia Campbell provided the one-two scoring punch for BSE with 23 and 20 points respectively. Campbell connected on five three-pointers in the contest. Wilhour hit seven field goals, including one three-pointer, and was eight of eight at the line.
CHBC was led by Lani Morrison with 11 and Mackenzie Bunch with 10. Gracie Heckert led in rebounds with six. Jaelyn Robertson and L. Morrison had three assists each.
CHBC finished at 4-4 in the conference and is 18-8 overall.

At Neoga
Altamont finished the National Trail Conference season as the champions with an 8-0 record after downing Neoga, 57-47 in Monday evening action.
Neoga held a 13-10 opening quarter lead but Altamont came back to knot the score at 25-25 at halftime. Altamont moved ahead as Mary Guse hit two three-pointers and finished with 10 points in the third quarter while Allyson Hardiek finished with nine. Altamont led 44-39 going into the final quarter.
In that final period, Altamont had a 13-9 run when Guse hit five of six at the line.
Hardiek tallied 27 for the winners, hitting 11 field goals and five of five at the line. Guse chipped in with 20 on six field goals that included three trifectas and was seven of nine at the line.
Neoga was led by Kylee Phillips with 19 and Olivia Titus with 13. Phillips hit eight field goals that included a three-pointer and was two of four at the line.
Altamont improved to 22-5 overall. Neoga dropped to 4-3 in the conference, 14-15 overall and will finish out the conference season Thursday at Dieterich.

Newton improved to 19-9 on the season with a 61-37 win over Palestine/Hutsonville Monday evening.
The Eagles ripped out to a 19-6 opening quarter lead and led 35-18 at halftime.
Allison Harris led three players in double figures with 14. Whitney Zumbahlen scored 13 and Brooke Jansen with 11. Jansen led in rebounds with six. Harris finished with a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She also had seven steals.
Newton will play its last regular season game Thursday at Casey-Westfield in a varsity only contest.
The Eagles also nabbed the junior varsity contest, 28-14.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg took the opening quarter lead and went on for a 48-28 non-conference win over Ramsey Monday evening.
The Hatchets led 13-8 after the opening quarter and 27-18 at halftime. WSS had a 14-6 third quarter run.
Mikala Nichols led the winners with 22 points while Hannah Hayes chipped in with 14.

Teutopolis ran into a tough Breese Mater Dei squad and fell, 51-44 in Monday evening competition.
Mater Dei edged out to a 12-10 opening quarter lead. The Wooden Shoes pulled within 22-21 at halftime.
But Mater Dei had a 14-7 third quarter then held off the Shoes with free throws in the final period.
The Wooden Shoes were led by Lexie Niebrugge with 13 and Olivia NIemerg with 12. Niebrugge had three steals in the contest while Olivia Niemerg and Isabella Hardiek had two each. Karsyn Mette led in rebounds with six.
