Illini Win a Close One at Home Over Golden Gophers

The Illinois Fighting Illini continued rolling, defeating the Minnesota Golden Gophers 59-51 Thursday night at the State Farm Center.
Illinois, now 16-5 and atop the Big 10 Conference, had four players in double figures. Andres Feliz led the Illini with 17 points. Kofi Cockburn posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Ayo Dosunmu also scored 13 points and Trent Frazier added 10 points.
Illinois led 24-20 at halftime and outscored Minnesota 35-31 in the second half.
