The Bullpups held a 10-7 opening quarter lead but Salem came back to move ahead 22-21 at halftime. Salem then had a 30-12 second half.
St. Anthony was led by Adams with 16 points.
In the other Thursday contest, Aviston defeated Greenville 44-18.
Aviston now meets Salem for the championshp at 7 p.m. today while St. Anthony takes on Greenville at 6 p.m .for third place. In the consolation championship at 5, Effingham faces Troy Triad.

NTC Eighth-Grade Tournament
The National Trail Conference Eighth-Grade Boys Basketball Tournament came to a close Thursday evening.
Winning the championship was Dieterich over Sigel St. Michael, 46-37.
Stewardson-Strasburg edged Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 29-28 for third place.
Stew-Stras held a 9-2 opening quarter lead and led 17-14 at hafltime. Stew-Stras was still ahead by two going into the final quarter. CHBC came back with an 8-7 run only to fall a point short.
Stew-Stras was led by Gurgel with nine points and Manhart and Gracey with seven each.
CHBC was led by Gage Lorton with 11.
In the consolation championship, St. Elmo/Brownstown defeated Effingham Sacred Heart, 32-22.

At Paris
Teutopolis split victories with Paris Mayo in Thursday evening action.
In the seventh-grade contest, Paris Mayo was a 50-34 winner. T-town held an 18-16 halftime lead and led 26-22 going into the final quarter. Paris Mayo had a 28-8 final period to pull out the victory.
T-town was led by Henry Thompson with 12 and Luke Niemerg with 10.
In the eighth-grade game, the Wooden Shoes won 50-30. T-town ripped out to a 16-2 opening quarter lead and never looked back.
Joey Niebrugge led the way in scoring with 12 points while Mitch Koester added 11.

Palestine/Hutsonville and Jasper County split victories Thursday evening.
The visitors won the sevebth-grade contest, 43-25. Palestine-Hutsonville stepped out to a big 26-1 opening quarter.
Jasper County (4-15) was led by Lain Burgener with 11 and Wade Wickham with 10.
In eighth-grade action, Jasper County was the big leader at halftime, 29-9 and went on for a 51-17 win over Palestine/Hutsonville.
Isaac Flowers led the winners with 16 points as the squad improved to 9-9.
