Frosh/Soph Boys Basketball -- Jan. 20

The Indians won the freshman game, 47-44. St. Anthony ripped out to a 19-6 opening quarter lead and led 29-17 at halftime. The Bulldogs held a 35-29 lead going into the final quarter when Altamont had an 18-9 run to pull out the victory.

Robinson led Altamont with 10 points while Rippetoe and Jahraus added nine each.

St. Anthony was led by Jonathan Willenborg with 16 and Michael Martelli with 11.

In the sophomore game, Altamont claimed a 57-52 overtime win.

St. Anthony ran out to a 19-3 first quarter lead and led 31-20 at halftime and 38-33 goingi nto the final quarter. Once again, Altamont came back to tie the score, sending the game into overtime, then had an 11-6 run to claim a 57-52 win.

Winn led Altamont with 12 points while Cornett added 11.

St. Anthony was led by Brody Niebrugge with 17 and Kyle Stewart with 13.
