The Bulldogs edged ahead 15-14 in the opening quarter and held a 33-27 halftime lead. Mount Carmel came back with a 14-11 third period run to pull within three points going into the final quarter. St. Anthony then got back on track with a 16-8 final period.
The Bulldogs had two players in double figures. Jaccob Dust led the way with 27 points while Jack Hoene chipped in with 11.
St. Anthony also nabbed the junior varsity contest, 42-31. Walsh tallied 17 and Nuxoll 13.

At Farina
South Central tallied a non-conference victory over Cisne in Friday action, 45-36.
The Cougars stepped out to a 17-10 opening quarter lead but Cisne came back to knot the score at 22-22 at hafltime. The Runnin' Lions moved ahead 28-26 before South Central stepped up with a 19-8 final period to pull out the win.
Keenin Willshire scored 19 for the winners while Collin Miller added 13 and Hunter Brandt 10. The Cougars improve to 8-7 on the season.

The Eagles edged out to an 11-10 opening quarter lead and led 26-21 at halftime.
Kyle Schafer scored 16 points to lead the Eagels while Evan Schafer chipped in with nine.
Newton is now 9-7 on the season.
