Effingham played host to Olney in freshman/sophomore boys basketball action Wednesday and claimed a 60-44 victory.

The Hearts edged out to an 8-7 opening quarter lead then pushed that to 25-20 at halftime. 

Two EHS players finished in double figures. Estrada tallied 16 points while Pontious chipped in with 11. Maxedon was on the verge of double figures with nine points.
