North Clay Downs Noble in MTC Play

North Clay (Louisville) picked up a Saturday Midland Trail Conference boys basketball victory over Noble, 72-27.

Logan Hildebrand guided North Clay in the right direction in the opening quarter by scoring 11 of his team's 17 points. Cody Yoho tallied six points and Dylan Walker five in the second period as the Cardinals led 36-21 at halftime.

Then it was Nathan Micklautz's turn in the third period as the 6-foot-3 senior scored 12 of North Clay's 22 points. Hildbrand finished with 23 for the Cardinals while Micklautz added 21 and Yoho 15.

The Cardinals improve to 6-3 in the conference, 13-11 overall.
