St. Anthony Improves to 10-0; Altamont Also Stays Unbeaten

St. Anthony broke out of the gate quickly and led the game 23-11 after one quarter. It was 33-20 at halftime, and an 18-11 margin in the third quarter put the Bulldogs in front 51-31 heading to the final period. St. Anthony posted a 14-8 edge to win the game by 26 points.
St. Anthony shot the ball well, 25 of 44 from the field, 57%, including four of nine threes. The Bulldogs made 11 of 17 free throws, turned the ball over 11 times and grabbed 24 rebounds.
Olney shot 39% from the field, 14 of 36, including 2 of 13 threes. The Tigers made nine of 13 foul shots, committed 14 turnovers and pulled down 17 rebounds.
Jaccob Dust posted a double-double for St. Anthony, scoring 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jack Hoene and Aaron Webb scored 11 points each. Also for St. Anthony: Logan Antrim 9, Kaden Fearday 8, and Jack Elder, Connor Walk, Craig Croy and Seth Hotze 2 points each.
Braden Flanagan led Olney with 15 points. The Tigers are now 5-4 on the season.
St. Anthony won the JV game 66-31. Craig Croy and Seth Hotze each scored 18 points for the JV Bulldogs, while Grant Nuxoll scored 12 points.

At Altamont
The Altamont Indians also remained unbeaten, downing Hillsboro 67-50, to improve to 8-0 on the season.
Kaden Eirhart and Aidan Jahraus led the way for the Indians; Eirhart with 24 points, Jahraus with 21. Also for Altamont: Denver Duckwitz 6, Noah Teasley 6, Noah Klimpel 5, Jared Kollman 4, Derick Budde 1.
Hillsboro took the early lead, moving out to 18-11 in the opening quarter. Altamont came back to move ahead 30-27 at halftime. The Indians pushed it into high gear in the third quarter with a 23-9 run as Jahraus nailed 12 points and Eirhart seven. Jahraus hit two three-pointers and Eirhart one. The Indians had seven three-pointers in the game with Eirhart nailing four of those.
Altamont won the JV game 61-34. Noah Klimpel scored 16 to lead the JV Indians.
