Effingham St. Anthony and Teutopolis split victories in junior high boys basketball competition Thursday evening.
The Bullpups won the seventh-grade contest, 30-21 by jumping out to a 10-4 opening quarter lead and holding T-town scoreless in the second quarter to lead 18-4 at hafltime.
Link tallied 12 points for the winners. T-town was led by Luke Niemerg and Henry Thompson with six each.
In the eighth-grade game, the Wooden Shoes won 40-22. T-town held a 19-9 halftime lead and had a 14-7 third quarter run.
Ethan R. Thoele scored 13 points while Eli Hanson added 12. St. Anthony was led by Roepke with eight.

At Effingham
Olney came calling and claimed two victories over Effingham in Thursday action.
The seventh-grade game went to Olney, 42-16. Olney stepped out to a 27-6 first half lead.
Effingham dropped to 3-9 on the season.
In eighth-garde play, Olney edged the Mustangs, 35-32.
Olney held a 27-13 halftime lead. Effingham came back in the second half only to fall short.
Raddatz led the Mustangs with 14 points.

Stewardson-Strasburg claimed two wins over Neoga Thursday evening.
Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade contest, 37-10. The squad held a 21-7 halftime lead and had a 12-0 third period.
Gurgel tallied 17 and Morris 12 for the winners who improve to 7-1 in the National Trail Conference, 13-3 overall. Neoga was led by Cardinal with seven.
In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras claimed a 33-22 win. Stew-Stras stepped out to a 15-3 opening quarter lead and that was the game.
Manhart scored 11 for the winners who improve to 3-5 in the conference, 4-9 overall. Neoga was led by Staszak with 12.

North Clay (Louisville) picked up two wins over visiting South Central Thursday evening.
North Clay was a 29-23 winner in the seventh-grade contest.
L. Groves led the winners with 14 points. South Central was led by Smith with eight.
In eighth-grade play, North Clay was a 54-34 winner. North Clay held a 25-15 halftime lead.
North Clay was led by Weidner with 16 points and Wells with nine. South Central was led by Hiestand and Jones with nine each.
