A Utah Jazz fan who was banned for life from the NBA team’s arena over accused racial taunts at point guard Russell Westbrook, then with the Oklahoma City Thunder, is suing the Jazz and Westbrook for $100 million.

Shane Keisel said his heckling during the March game wasn't racial, and that he lost his job because of the incident and has been threatened online. Westbrook was fined $25,000 by the NBA after video showed him making vulgar comments to Keisel and using threatening language.

Westbrook said he'd been provoked by the fan, who told him to, quote, "get down on your knees like you used to." Keisel denied the charge, saying he was heckling Westbrook by mockingly saying to, quote, "take care of his knees" because he had them wrapped in towels which he sat on the bench.
