Dieterich was a winner over host Cumberland, 50-35. The Movin' Maroons took a 14-7 opening quarter lead and led 28-13 at halftime.
The Maroons had three players hit double figures. Cole Niebrugge led the way with 14 points while Derek Kuhl added 13 and Collin Hartke chipped in with 12. Pete Britton was on the verge of double figures with nine.
Cumberland was led by Ross Hemmen with 10 and Wyatt Napier with eight.
In the second game, Okaw Valley edged Vandalia, 42-40.
The tournament continues Friday with Oblong meeting Newton at 3 p.m. while Cumberland takes on Vandalia at 4:30 in consolation bracket action. In the winner bracket, Casey-Westfield squares off against Charleston at 6 and Dieterich meets Okaw Valley at 7:30. The tournament will come to a close Saturday.

Mulberry Grove FND Community Bank Turkey Tournament
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City pounded Lebanon in its second game at the Mulberry Grove Tournament Tuesday, 80-34.
In the second contest, Patoka won over Father McGivney, 58-46. The final game of the evening saw Mulberry Grove beat Mount Olive, 39-23.
The tournament continues tonight with Father McGivney against St. Elmo/Brownstown at 5:15 followed by Ramsey facing Patoka at 6:45 and Lebanon meeting Mulberry Grove at 8;15.
CHBC is 1-1 while St. Elmo/Brownstown stands at 1-0.
At Pana
In a regular season contest, Altamont claimed a 30-point victory over Pana in action Tuesday, 72-42.
The Indians took an 18-13 opening quarter lead and pushed that to 36-25 at halftime. Altamont finished strong with a 23-7 final period.
Three players hit double figures for Altamont. Aiden Jahraus and Kaden Eirhart tallied 20 points each while Denver Duckwitz scored 11.
In the junior varsity game, Pana won 61-50. Leading Altamont was Jered Ruffner with 14.

South Central took a 40-19 halftime lead on Sandoval and went on for a 67-25 victory Tuesday.
Wllshire tallied 20 for the winners while Brandt added 15 and Miller 11.
The Cougars also claimed the junior varsity contest, 70-25.

Woodlawn came calling and handed North Clay (Louisville) a 68-47 loss Tuesday.
Woodlawn took a 17-11 opening quarter lead and led 24-14 at halftime. Woodlawn led 48-29 heading into the final quarter.
Woodlawn's Blake Makay scored 36 points.
North Clay was led by Tyson Jones with 14 and Luke Fleener with 11.
The Cardinals captured the junior varsity contest, 44-31. Dakota Weidner scored 16 for the winners.
