Effingham Sacred Heart captured two victories over Mulberry Grove in junior high boys basketball competition Wednesday.

The Shamrocks tallied a 37-28 win in seventh-grade action. Sacred Heart charged out of the gate with a 12-4 opening quarter lead and led 24-8 at halftime.

L. Wallace tallied 15 to lead the way for Sacred Heart while A. Borries and H. Brent scored seven each.

In eighth-grade action, Sacred Heart claimed a 52-19 win. The Shamrocks whipped out to a 29-9 halftime lead and never looked back.

N. Biggs and Z. Hullen scored 15 points each for the Shamrocks.
