Effingham defeated Neoga 30-16 in girls 8th grade basketball Thursday.

For Effingham: Olivia Moser 8, Makala McDaniel 6, Reagan Boone 6, Izzy Volpi 4, Rylea Hodge 2, Elena Niebrugge 2, Olivia Raddatz 2

For Neoga: Richards 8, Keep 4, Campbell 4

Effingham is now 1-3 on the season, and is back in action Tuesday hosting Okaw Valley.

St. Anthony won the Stew-Stras 7th grade tournament Saturday. 

St. Anthony defeated Sigel St. Michael 26-22, and won the championship game over Cumberland 44-17.
