LOUISVILLE -- North Clay Junior High School picked up seventh and eighth grade girls basketball victories over Effingham Sacred Heart Monday.
North Clay claimed the seventh-grade contest, 18-8. The winners were led by Mallory Boose with eight points. Sacred Heart was led by Taylor Thies with four points.
In eighth-grade action, North Clay was a 38-8 winner. Miah Ballard and Mallory Boose were the one-two scoring punch for the winners with 14 points each.
The Shamrocks were led by Anna Albert and Korina Hecht with four each.
