Pelican's Miller Expected To Miss Most Of Season

The New Orleans Pelicans say forward Darius Miller is expected to miss seven to eight months after suffering a ruptured right Achilles tendon. Miller averaged 8.2 points in 69 games for the Pelicans last season and suffered the injury while playing 3-on-3 basketball.

 

NBA Suspends Nets' Chandler

The NBA has suspended Brooklyn Nets forward Wilson Chandler 25 games without pay for violating the league’s anti-drug program. Chandler said in a statement that the substance was prescribed by a doctor while rehabbing from an injury and they didn’t know it had been added to the banned drugs list.

 

Arrest Warrant For DeMarcus Cousins

An arrest warrant has been issued in Alabama for DeMarcus Cousins over the threatening phone call he allegedly made to his baby mama. Cousins is facing misdemeanor charges of third degree harassing communications, which carries a maximum sentence of one year behind bars.
