Durant Undergoes Surgery For Achilles Tendon

Kevin Durant has undergone surgery in New York for a ruptured right Achilles tendon. Durant suffered the injury in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, which was his first game back after being sidelined for over a month.

No word on how long Durant will be out of action, but it’s believed he’ll likely miss all of the upcoming 2019-20 season.


Cavaliers Hire Woman  Assistant

The Cleveland Cavaliers have made history by hiring University of California-Berkeley women's basketball head coach Lindsay Gottlieb to be an assistant on John Beilein's staff. Gottlieb is the first women's collegiate head coach to be hired for an NBA coaching staff.


Irving May Opt Out Of Contract

It’s being reported that Kyrie Irving will opt out of his contract with the Boston Celtics. Irving holds a $21.3 million player option for next season. However, his salary in free agency this summer is predicted to be about $33 million.
