Effingham High School senior Landon Wolfe made it official Tuesday, signing his letter of intent to play college basketball at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota.

EHS' boys basketball all-time leading scorer said Minnesota State got into the mix of recruiters a little later in the game, but said he loved the campus, the coach and his future teammates and decided to head north.

Landon, who finished his high school career with 2,126 points, said he will most likely work as a guard in college. He also plans to major in Business.

In addition to setting the basketball scoring record, Landon set a number of passing records while playing football for the Hearts, including most yards in a game, most yards in a season, completions in a season, TD passes in a season, career passing yards and TD passes in a career.
