EHS Boys Basketball Camp Scheduled May 22-24

2019 Effingham Boys Basketball Camp

Dates: Wednesday, May 22-Friday, May 24, (Registration Deadline May 1)

Location: Effingham High School Gym

Cost: $45 per camper or $40 per brother

Grades: Session 1 -- 8-10 a.m. for students entering gades 4-6 for the 2019-20 school year.

Session 2 -- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for students entering grades 7-9 for the 2019-20 school year.

Camp staff will include members of the Effingham High School and Junior High School coaching staff along with present and past members of the Effingham High School basketball program.

Camp will include:

• Instruction on the fundamentals of basketball with an emphasis on:
  • Shooting techniques
  • Ball handling, passing, Screening
  • Defense-guarding the ball handler
• Age group shooting competitions
• Camp T-shirt

I hearby authorize the staff of the “Building Future Champions” Basketball Camp to act for me according to their best judgement in any emergency requiring medical attention and I hereby waive and release Coach Obie Farmer, camp coaches, and Effingham Unit #40 School District from any and all liability for any injuries or illness incurred while at camp. I have no knowledge of any physical impairment that would be affected by the named camper’s participation in the camp program.

Cost for the camp is $45.00 per camper (except “brothers” where cost is $40 each). Make checks payable to Effingham High School

Registration deadline is Wednesday May 1 (to guarantee T-shirt size). There will be late registration the morning of the first day of camp from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.for Session 1 and from 10 am to 10:15 a.m. for Session 2. (t-shirt size or availability cannot be guaranteed for late registrations)
