Lakers To Meet With Williams About Head Job

The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly plan to meet with Philadelphia 76ers assistant Monty Williams about their head coaching vacancy. The Lakers also plan to talk to former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Ty Lue and Miami Heat assistant Juwan Howard this week.

The Philadelphia 76ers have fined Amir Johnson after he was caught reading text messages from his cell phone on the bench during the Sixers’ Game 1 playoff loss to Brooklyn. Joel Embiid later told reporters that Johnson was checking on his daughter, who was "extremely sick."

LSU Reinstates Coach Wade

LSU has reinstated recently suspended basketball coach Will Wade. The move came two days after Wade met with LSU and NCAA officials over alleged recruiting irregularities.
