NEOGA -- Effingham St. Anthonyi handed Neoga a freshman/sophomore boys basketball loss Saturday, 53-40.
Two players hit double digits for the Bulldogs. Jeff Niebrugge tallied 19 and Jay Niebrugge 17. Nick Grunloh added nine points and eight rebounds. Jeff Niebrugge had eight boards. Kyle Hartke had six assists and James Kabbes five assists.
Neoga was led by Moore with 15 and Abernathy with 12.

At Teutopolis
Effingham picked up two victories at Teutopolis. The Hearts won the freshman game 46-34.
EHS had even scoring up and down the lineup with Reed Schafer leading with nine points while Sean Zerrusen, Brady Jackson, Michael Woltman and Jared Minor had eight each.
T-town was led by K. Smith with eight points.
Effingham claimed a 50-44 sophomore victory. Braydon Bone tallied 16 and Michael Carie 15 in the win. The Hearts trailed T-town 30-16 at halftime and 37-31 going into the final period then had a 19-7 run.
T-town was led by Gebben with 14, Mette with 11 and Niemerg with 11.
