The Houston Rockets broke their own NBA record by making 27 three-pointers in their 149-113 win over the Phoenix Suns Sunday night. Eric Gordon led the way by tying a career high with eight three-pointers.
Baylor Claims NCAA Women's Championship
Baylor held off Notre Dame 82-81 Sunday night to win the women’s NCAA championship. Baylor became just the third program in Division I with three or more championships, following Connecticut and Tennessee.
Arkansas Hires Musselman
Arkansas has hired Nevada’s Eric Musselman to be its next head basketball coach. Musselman led the Wolf Pack to a 110-34 record in four seasons, including three NCAA Tournament berths and one Sweet 16 appearance.

Virginia Tech has hired former Wofford men's basketball coach Mike Young to replace Buzz Williams. The move comes just four days after Williams left for Texas A&M.
Duke's Williamson Named Naismith Player of Year
Duke’s Zion Williamson was named the Naismith Men's Player of the Year Sunday. Williamson is the third freshman to receive the award. On Friday, he was named Player of the Year by the Associated Press and U.S. Basketball Writers Association.
