PEORIA -- Several area players competed in the Country Financial Three-Point Basketball Shootout at Carver Arena Thursday.

Altamont High School's Noah Teasley took part in the Class 1A Shootout but did not advance. He knocked in five.

Advancing were Christian Trexler, junior, Tamms-Egyptian with 12, Noah Lintker, junior, New Athens with 11, Cam Scott, senior, Glasford Illini Bluffs with 11 and  Braedon Fyock, senior, Forreston with 10.

In Class 2A, Chance Black, senior from Robinson, advanced with 10 to the Final Four. He went into a shootoff and scored six.

Matthew Wells, junior from Vandalia, did not advance and finished with six.

Others advancing were Will Gibbs, junior, Harrisburg with 11, Graham Eighner, senior, Hoopeston Area with 11 and Gage Bartos, senior, Pleasant Plains, 10 and eight in the shootoff.
